Chocolate quinoa bites

Chocolate quinoa bites are made using dark chocolate and puffed quinoa with some raisins to add natural sweetness. These chocolate puffed quinoa snacks are quick and easy to make and are great for kids' lunchboxes, parties or to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 200 g Dark chocolate suitable for melting
  • 45 g Puffed quinoa
  • 30 g Raisins optional, either whole or chopped
Makes: 5cm round2cm height

Instructions
 

  • Melt the chocolate.
  • Add the puffed quinoa and raisins to the melted chocolate.
  • Mix together until the quinoa and raisins are completely covered with chocolate.
  • Form circular shapes on a flexible board, either by hand or using a mould.
  • Transfer to the fridge to set (for around 30 minutes).
  • Remove from the fridge and store in an airtight container.
