Chocolate tahini squares combine the flavours of chocolate and tahini to create an irresistible treat containing wholesome ingredients. No baking and no fuss. Simply melt the chocolate, mix and chill.

They pair perfectly with a cup of coffee. Alternatively, cut into small pieces and place in a gift box to make a homemade gift.

Vegan chocolate tahini bars
To make vegan chocolate tahini bars, use a bar of vegan chocolate (non- dairy).
Before you start
Line an 18 cm (7") square tin (or equivalent size) with non stick parchment. Leave the paper oversized to make it easier to lift the slab of chocolate tahini out of the tin.
How to prepare
Melt the chocolate and then stir in the tahini. Add the oats, seeds and raisins and mix.
Spoon the mixture into the lined tin, press into place and then chill until set.
Carefully remove from the tin and cut into portions.






Variations
- Use either dark chocolate or milk chocolate depending on your preference.
- You could substitute a nut butter for the tahini.
- Use different types of seeds such as pumpkin seeds.
- Add chopped nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts.
- Use other dried fruits such as chopped dates, figs or cranberries.
Storage instructions
Your chocolate tahini snack bars can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.

Equipment
- 17cm (7") square cake tin lined with parchment
Ingredients
For the chocolate tahini
- 200 grams chocolate
- 150 grams tahini
- 3 tablespoons rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- 3 tablespoons raisins
To decorate
- 2 teaspoons sunflower seeds
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate.
- Add the tahini to the chocolate and mix.
- Add the oats, sunflower seeds and raisins and mix.
- Line an 18 cm by 18 cm (7" by 7") tin (or equivalent size) with non stick parchment paper.
- Pack the chocolate tahini mixture into the base of the lined tin.
- Sprinkle seeds over the top.
- Chill until set (around 1 to 2 hours).
- Cut into squares.
